8y FS Labrador Retriever with progressive pelvic limb neuropathy. An expansile mass that is T1 and T2 hyperintense compared to adjacent
muscle arises from the body of the seventh lumbar vertebra (a,b,d,e: arrow). There is extensive cortical osteolysis, and the mass extends
into the vertebral canal, elevating and enveloping the cauda equina (a,b: arrowhead). The mass uniformly and intensely enhances
following intravenous contrast administration (c,f: arrow). Image‐guided aspiration biopsy confirmed plasma cell neoplasia.
