2. IMPLEMENTATION
I.1. Equipment are well-maintained.
The University employed computer technicians who are graduates of two-year computer
technology course and BS Information Technology from reputable colleges and universities in the
province. The said computer technicians who are tasked to troubleshoot and maintain the performance
of computer units not only in computer laboratory rooms but to all offices in the university as well are
certified competent computer technicians since they are holders of National Certificate II in Computer
Hardware Servicing, PC Operations and Computer System Servicing issued by the Technical Education
and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). They have also attended various related seminars and
trainings to further enhance their knowledge and skills in computer servicing.
There is also an ICT-INFRA unit in the campus that monitors and maintains the various computer
units in the different offices to ensure that the computers and its paraphernalia are always in good
working condition.
Aside from computer technicians the University also employed laboratory aides/Science aides
who are holders of relevant bachelors and masters’ degree to oversee the proper and wise utilization
and maintenance of science laboratory apparatuses, supplies and materials.
