BSU RECIPIENTS ARE NOT SUBJECT TO ADMINISTRATIVE FEES
Recipients of government assistance funds in the form of salary/wage subsidies (BSU) distributed
through Himbara Bank are not subject to any deductions, including administrative fees. This was
stated by the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Ida Fauziyah, after meeting with BSU recipients
in Manado, North Sulawesi.
“The BSU assistance of Rp. 1 million can be withdrawn or disbursed in its entirety,” he said.
Ida explained that currently, the distribution of BSU has entered stage V, with a total of 7,748,630
prospective recipients of BSU data that have been submitted by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to the
Ministry of Manpower. After going through the data matching process, BSU has been distributed
as many as 4,911,200 recipients.
“We prioritize BSU recipients not receiving other programs, so that there is an even distribution
of various government aids that have been issued by the government,” he said.
The Minister of Manpower is grateful that the BSU launched by the government can help
workers/labourers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially during the period of Community
Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
“We hope that all of these programs will be completed in October 2021,” he said.
On the sidelines of his working visit to North Sulawesi, Ida visited a number of workers/labor
recipients of BSU in 2021.
