While Indonesia continues to seek international recognition for

its role in migrant worker protection, activists have urged the

government to do more at home, particularly as it has not yet

drafted implementing regulations for the 2017 Migrant Worker

Protection Law.

A biannual resolution on female migrant workers was adopted

by the United Nations General Assembly in New York earlier this

week, following a push by Indonesia and the Philippines —

which are among the world's major sending countries of female

domestic workers.

TANGSEL Jawa Pos - BPJS Ketenagakerjaan terus memperluas

cakupan kepesertaannya di Indonesia, terutama perlindungan

bagi pegawai pemerintahan nonaparatur sipil negara (non-ASN)

dan pekerja rentan. Hal itu dibuktikan melalui penyerahan kartu

kepesertaan pekerja rentan secara simbolis dari Pemkot Tangsel

kepada pekerja rentan di lingkungan Pemkot Tangsel.

Setidaknya ada 12.928 pekerja rentan yang menerima program

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Yakni, jaminan kecelakaan kerja (JKK)
