BRANCH
      OR DROPPER
      KNOTIING

      Some kinds of fishing
      require a number of
      hooks to be tied in
      series to one line, so
      you need a system by
      which you can bend a
      series of shorter lines,
      each with its own hook.
      to the main line. There
      are many branch or
      dropper knots that will
      accomplish this but the
      following knot is popular
because it has a good grip
      and does not unduly
      damage the main line.
