As people become more mobile as they visit workplaces, they have a perfect opportunity to receive incentives to visit local hospitality, enjoy the local offering, gain assurances with recommendations and help the local economy. Working with businesses presents an opportunity to attract visitors, and Eat Out Round About convenience vouchers are offered as part of the package.
19. Not Returning to The Office
There are mixed debates about the benefits of remote and home working. Some businesses are deciding to move away from the office to promote a better work-life balance from home, while others are concerned about the culture, productivity, and transference of skills. Those businesses engaging with remote working are looking for places to come together and to invest money they would have otherwise spent on office overheads into other areas of their business. Eat Out Round About hospitality businesses are plugging into the innovative idea to support new approaches to work and life in a ‘new normal.'
20. Having Customers With New Money To Spend
Most digital apps have concentrated on charging a high commission or discounting hospitality. With the onset of the pandemic, we see a need opportunity to perhaps introduce new ways to stimulate revenue for hospitality.
Any discounts offered by our hospitality partners are directed to the customer. The revenue we generate from the sale of vouchers generates income for local hospitality. Customers who walk through the door with more money to spend put customers into a state of willingness to spend more money. Hospitality venues contribute, and this is a partnership approach that can encourage customers to spend more on their visits.
21. A New Angle To Discounting
Prior to the pandemic a discount was seen as a discount and could devalue the brand of a small business. We saw the opportunity from Eat Out To Help Out to reframe a discount as adding value to the local economy and so increasing the perceived value of the business offering the discount. Hospitality businesses that work with us are innovating by increasing their value as they offer increased value to customers without devaluing their brand.
22. Eliminating Administration
The original Eat Out To Help Out Scheme created additional administration through claims for hospitality businesses. Our platform innovates by taking the original problem and dramatically reducing administration through automation and self-billing invoices.
23. New Revenue Streams with Digital Innovation
Our passion lies in the opportunities that digital innovation presents to solve significant challenges.
The economic impact on the hospitality sector is something we can not change on our own, but we can offer digital plug-in solutions. We came up with developing a range of products that hospitality and leisure businesses can market and introduce new revenue streams from products that help the sector thrive. Hospitality businesses can innovate by introducing new technologies into their business and generate additional revenue streams as local communities grow.
