               Relationship Between Two Lines

                       In this discussion, we will learn about the relationship between two lines. There are

               three possible relationships between two lines, namely two lines can be parallel, two lines can
               intersect, and two lines coincide in a plane. The three possible relationships between the two

               lines are presented as shown in the figure below.

               Based on the picture above, the relationship between the two lines, namely:


                 a.  Two lines are said to be parallel if they do not have a common point.

                 b.  Two lines are said to intersect if they have a common point. This common point is called
                     the point of intersection.

                 c.  Two lines are said to coincide with each other if they have more than one common point.
