Daw Aye, previously she is taking Metformin and her HbA1c is controlled. During Pandemic, she didn’t come for
regular follow up and now her HbA1c is 7.9%. Doctor, does this recall you patients at current practice?
Dear Doctor, at this time of Pandemic HbA1c control is becoming important more than ever but on the other
hand, patients are losing control even taking their current medications because of less physical activity, increase
food intake, no regular check-up, decrease treatment adherence etc.…
To regain your patients’ HbA1c control at 7%, you have to add an OAD, which guarantees rapid and sustained
HbA1c control at 7%.

Objective
To highlight the challenges of Diabetes Patients during Pandemic situation including loss of follow
up, increase food intake, less physical activities finally leading to lost of HbA1c control.
