HAYALLERİNİN PEŞİNDEN GİDEN GENÇ TASARIMCILARA
LC WAIKIKI’DEN GELİŞİM DESTEĞİ
DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT FROM LC WAIKIKI TO YOUNG DESIGNERS IN THE PURSUIT OF THEIR DREAMS
Sayın Yönetim Kurulu Başkanımız Vahap Küçük’ün yön- lendirmesi ile destek olduğumuz, geçmiş yıllarda da eği- tim sponsoru ve jürisi olduğumuz ATHİB Dokuma Kumaş Tasarım Yarışması’nın bu yıl altıncısı LC Waikiki iş birliği ile verilen eğitimlerle tamamlandı.
Tasarımcı adaylarına özgün tasarımlarla kendilerini ifa- de etme şansı vererek, genç tasarımcıları sektörle buluş- turmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen ATHİB Dokuma Kumaş Tasarım Yarışması’nda finalistlere üç eğitmenimiz, üç ayrı konu başlığında (Trend Analizi Eğitimi, Elyaf ve Lif Eğitimi, Dokuma Kumaş Eğitimi) eğitim verdi ve genç tasarımcıla- rın gelişimine katkı sağladı.
Türkiye’de bir ilk olarak Kurumsal Akademi tarafından Dokuma Kumaş Tasarım Yarışması’na özel olarak geliş- tirilen eğitim programında teknik eğitimlere yer vererek yarışmacılara sektör deneyimi kazandırdık. Eğitim progra- mında dokuma tasarımcısının nasıl çalışması gerektiği ve verileri hazırlarken nelerden faydalandığı, shopping’te dik- kat edilmesi gerekenler ve shopping verilerinin nasıl payla- şılması gerektiği, bir dokuma tasarımcısının sezon hazırlık süreci ve bu sürecin ekiplerle paylaşılması gibi bir tasarımcı için en kritik mesleki becerilere yer verildi.
Tüm bunların yanı sıra, Milano, Shanghai ve Fransa’daki fuarların genel analiz raporu finalistlerle paylaşılarak, fuar- larda önerilen trend ve kumaşların rakip markalardaki kar- şılıkları görsellerle anlatılarak vizyon geliştiren bir bölümle program zenginleştirildi. Aynı zamanda, görsel gösterme- nin yanında EAT Dokuma Programı üzerinden özel kumaş- ların nasıl tasarlandığı ile ilgili birebir uygulamalar yaparak yarışmacıların deneyimlerini artırmaları sağlandı.
Yoğun eğitim programının ardından 20 gün boyunca ta- sarladıkları kumaşları dokuma makinelerinde üreten ya- rışmacıların eserleri Adana Milli Mensucat Fabrikası’nda gerçekleştirilen ödül töreninde değerlendirmeye sunuldu.
This year the sixth of the ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Contest, which we have supported by guidance of our Dear Chairman of the Board of Directors Vahap Küçük and which we were training sponsors and juries in the past years, was completed with the trainings provided by the LC Waikiki collaboration.
In the ATHİB Woven Fabric Design Contest, which was held with the aim of bringing young designers together the sector by giving the designer candidates a chance to express themselves with original designs, our three trainers gave training to nalists on three di erent sub- jects (Trend Analysis Training, Fiber and Fiber Training, Woven Fabric Training) and contributed to the develop- ment of the young designers.
As a rst in Turkey we have provided the competitors with sector experience by giving technical trainings in the training program specially developed by the Corpo- rate Academy for the Woven Fabric Design Contest. The training program included the most critical profession- al skills for a designer, such as how a weaving designer should work and what kind of materials he/she used when preparing data, things to take into consideration in shop- ping and how to share the shopping data, and the season preparation process of a weaving designer and sharing of this process with teams.
In addition to this, the general analysis report of the fairs in Milan, Shanghai and France was shared with the - nalists and the program was enriched with a department that promotes the vision by telling visually the trends and fabrics recommended in the fairs against the equivalents of competitor brands. At the same time, it was provided to increase the experience of the competitors by per- forming individual applications on how the special fabrics were designed through the EAT Weaving Program be- sides the visual demonstration.
After the intensive training program, the works of the competitors who produced the fabrics, which they de- signed for 20 days, in weaving machines were presented for consideration at the awards ceremony held in the Ad- ana National Textile Factory.
