Burunları ince uzun ve sadece burada yaşam sürüyorlar. Suyun en büyük özelliği de termal su olması. Biz suyu soğuk beklerken elimi so- kunca suyun sıcacık olduguna şahit oldum. İnsanlar bu timsahlı suda çamaşırlarını, bulaşıklarını yıkıyorlar, yıkanıyorlar...
Biz keyi e Chitwan’da kaldık, zaman geçirdik, keşi er yaptık. Doğanın en güzel hallerini gördük. Chitwan’dan sonra bir de ol- maz ise olmaz Pokhara’ya gidelim istiyoruz. Pokhara, dünyanın en güzel köşelerinden biri.
Pokhara
415.000 nüfusu ile Nepalin ikinci en büyük şehri olan Pokhara, 464 kilometrekarelik yüz ölçümü ile de ülkenin en geniş şehri. Bu güzel şehir Pokhara; yoga, meditasyon, dağcılık ve trekking akti- vitelerinin de başkenti sayılıyor. Sakin ve huzur dolu yapısıyla da Nepal’deki diğer şehirlerden çok daha farklı burası. Deniz sevi- yesinden 700 metre yükseklikteki Pokhara’da güzelliği, doğası, gölleri ile gören herkesi büyülüyor. Pokhara’da yapılacak en güzel şey, dünyaca meşhur Fewa Gölü’nde tekne turlarına katılarak do- ğanın güzelliğine doymak; gölü, ormanları seyrederek beyni, be- deni dinlendirmek, tazelemek...
Fewa Gölü
Bu güzel göl şehirde kalındığı süre boyunca her yerden görünü- yor. Şehre girer girmez, şehri gezerken iç ferahlatan göl herkesi büyülüyor. Gölün kendi de çevresi de çok güzel.
Göl kenarı tüm konaklama ve yeme içme mekanlarına ev sa- hipliği yapıyor. Oldukça güvenli olan şehirde göl kenarı her saat dolu. Her saat yürüyüş yapmak isteyenlerin, yemek yemek, kah- ve içmek isteyenler için göl çevresi mükemmel bir yer.
Hem göl kıyısında gezmek hem de gölde küçük bir tekne turu da yapmak şart. Şehrin güney kısmındaki iskelelerden gündüzleri her saati 5-7 kişilik tekneler kalkıyor. Yaklaşık 2 saat süren tekne turunun ücreti ise, 5-6 dolar. Buraya gelen turistler muhakkak bu turlara katılıp Fewa Gölü’nün büyülü güzelliğinde yer alıyor. Or- manların içinde yer alan göl aynı resim tablosu gibi. Gelen turist- ler buraya hayran kalırken yerellerde bu gölden para kazanıyorlar. Şehrin en büyük geliri turizm olurken, ardından da balıkçılık olu- yor. Bu gölde 20 tür balık yaşarken, teknelerin motor kullanmaları da yasak. Sadece kürekle kullanıyorlar teknelerini. Göl kirlenme- sin diye büyük bir emekle çalışıyor yerliler. Havalar ısındığı za- manda bu gölde yüzüyorlar. Dünyanın en güzel köşelerinden biri Pokhara mavi ile yeşilin buluştuğu, sakin, temiz, göz kamaştıran bir dinlenme adresi.
Annapurna Dağları
Pokhara’yı ziyaret etmemizin en önemli tara arından biri de dün- yanın çatısı olarak anılan Everest Dağı’nın uzantılarının burda olması. Annapurna Dağları olarak isimlendirilen bu dağlar dağcılıktan, tırma- nıştan ve doğa aktivitilerinden hoşlananlar için Pokhara doğru adres. Dünyanın en yüksek zirvelerinden 7’sine sahip Annapurna Dağları heybetli ve mükemmel görüntüleriyle her saat farklı güzellikler ve manzaralar oluşturuyor. Özellikle de gün doğumu asla hafızalara ka- zınıyor. Zirvelere tırmanmak istemeyenler, daha sabah olmadan Sa- rangot Tepesi’nde yer alan otellerin çatılarında, teraslarında unutul- maz gün batımını izliyorlar. Güneş, Annapurna Dağları’nın zirvelerine yavaş yavaş vururken mükemmel bir görüntü olşuyor. Karlı zirveler güneş ışığı ile turunculaşmaya başlıyor. Bu manzarayı görmek de her şeye değiyor.
Ayrıca, bu şehirde zipline, yamaç paraşütü, planör gibi birçok doğa ve adrenalin sporu yapma şansı da var.
Nepal’den Neler Alınır?
El işçiliği oldukça güzel olan taş eserler, takılar, kolyeler ve ah- şap eserler oldukça uygun fiyatlara satılıyor.
Kıyafet Ne Giyelim?
Nepal’e bizim ülkemizde kış mevisimi yaşanırken gidilecekse, ora- da son bahar havası varmış gibi düşünülerek gidilmeli. İnce uzun kollu kıyafetlere eş olarak ince mont götürülebilir. Ama Annapurna Dağları için kalın bir kayak montu kesinlikle eksik edilmemeli.

Crocodiles are the en- demic species of the world. With tall and thin noses, they only live here. Moreover, the water is thermal water. I witness that the wa- ter was warm while we all expected the water to be cold. People wash their dishes, clothes and they wash themselves in this water surrounded by crocodiles.
We stayed with pleasure in Chitwan, we spend time, and we explored the surroundings. We have observed the most beautiful state of nature. Another must-see attraction is Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful corners of the world.
Pokhara
Pokhara is the largest city of Nepal in terms of area (464 km2), and the second largest city in terms of population (415,000). This beautiful city, Pokhara, is considered as the capital of yoga, med- itation, climbing and trekking activities. It is very di erent from other cities in Nepal with its calm and peaceful atmosphere. With an elevation of 700 meters above sea level, the beauty of Pokhara appeals everybody. The most beautiful thing to do in Pokhara is to enjoy the beauty of nature by taking part in boat tours on the fa- mous Phewa Lake, relax your body and soul by watching the forest.
Phewa Lake
This beautiful lake is observed from everywhere during the stay in the city. As long as you enter the city, the refreshing lake appeals everybody. The lake is beautiful as well as its surroundings.
The lakeside is full of accommodation possibilities as well as res- taurants. In addition to being safe, the lakeside of the city is always crowded. Phewa Lake is a perfect place for those who want to walk anytime, eat, and drink co ee.
However, you should take a tour on the lake with a small boat as well as you should walk on the side of the lake. From the piers located in the southern part of the city, the boats for 5-7 per- sons are departing frequently during the day. The fee for the boat tour, which lasts about 2 hours, is 5-6 dollars. If tourists come to this place, they de nitely participate in these tours and enjoy the magical beauty of Phewa Lake. The lake inside the forest is like a painting. While the tourists are admiring the view, the local people earn money thanks to Lake. While the biggest income of the city is tourism, the shing follows it. 20 sh species live in the lake and it is forbidden to use engines on boats. They only use shovels. Local people make a great e ort for preventing the lake to be polluted. When the weather warms up, they swim in the lake. Hence, Pokhara is one of the most beautiful corners of the world, it is quiet, clean and dazzling recreation area, where the blue and green meet.
Annapurna Mountains
Another reason for visiting Pokhara is its vicinity to Mount Ev- erest, known as the roof of the world. These mountains, called Annapurna Mountains, are the right address for those, who enjoy climbing, mountaineering and activities in nature. The Annapurna Mountains, which have 7 of the highest peaks in the world, create spectacular and beautiful scenes every hour with its magni cent images. Especially the sunrise is particularly memorable. Those, who do not want to climb the hills, watch the unforgettable sun- sets on the terraces of hotels, located on Sarangkot hill. While you see the sun rising on the hills of Annapurna Mountains, it creates a marvelous view. Snowy hills begin to turn orange with sunlight. Moreover, this view, it is worthy to see...
You have also the opportunity to practice many extreme sports such as the zip-line, paragliding, glider, etc.

Which clothes do we need to bring with us?
If you go to Nepal while it is winter in Turkey, you may take appro- priate clothes as considering the season will be the fall in Nepal. A thin coat can be taken as well as thin long sleeved clothes. Howev- er, for Annapurna Mountains, you de nitely need a thick ski jacket.
