Kotisaari Adası
Göllerin ortasında böyle harika bir ada bulunca hemen dro- numuza sarılıyoruz. Gökyüzünden gördüğümüz manzara bizi sanki masalın ortasında ya da kartpostalda çekim yapı- yor gibi hissettiriyor.
Kotisaari adası ev adası anlamına geliyor. Adanın içinde iki tane göl bulunuyor. Finlandiya’nın en uzun nehri üzerinde yer alan bu ada tarih boyunca da isyan görmüş. 1800’lü yılların başında ormancıların merkezi olmuş. Orman işleri buradan yürütülmüş. Hatta ormancıların kalesi olmuş ve yaşamları- nı burada sürdürmüşler. Daha sonra ormancılığın gelişmesi ile ormancılar burayı terk etmiş. Ada üzerinde ormancıların geçmişte kullandığı mekânlarda hâlâ duruyor. Ada bugün turizm için kullanılıyor. Turistlere günübirlik turlar düzenleni- yor. Turistler bu adada doğanın tadını çıkarıp, sakinleyip, din- leniyorlar. Bu arada da rehberleri de somon pişirip, yöresel lezzetler hazırlıyor. Durgun suların ortasında, serin havada, trafiksiz, sessiz, kuş seslerinin arasında geçirilen zaman ger- çekten unutulmaz.

Bu şehir bence her mevsim harika. Yazın harika bir doğa, ola- ğanüstü doğal bir yaşam bulunuyor. 24 saat yollar, caddeler hareketli. Batmayan güneş ve ılık bir hava tatilcilere eşlik ediyor. Ayrıca aktivite seçenekleri de çok fazla. Yazın bura- da yapılan aktiviteleri ikinci yazımda sizlere anlatacağım. Hak verirsiniz ki bu güzellikleri bir birkaç sayfaya sığdırmak mümkün değil.
Rovaniemi, çocukla tatil yapılacak en güzel adreslerden biri.
Kotisaari Island
When we find such a wonderful island in the middle of the lakes, we immediately fly our drone. The scenery we see from the sky makes us feel as if we are shooting in the middle of a fairy land or we look at a postcard.
Kotisaari means house island. There are two lakes in the is- land. Located on Finland’s longest river, this island has also experienced many rebels throughout history. In the early 1800s it became the center of foresters. Forest work was carried out here. In fact, they became the stronghold of foresters who lived here. Later, with the development of forestry foresters left here. The places where the foresters used it in the past are still standing. The island is a famous tourist location today. Daily tours are organized for tourists. Touristsenjoynature,relaxandcomposethemselvesonthis island. Meanwhile, the guides cook salmon and prepare lo- cal delicacies. In the midst of still waters, cool air, no traffic zones, quiet environment and the sounds of birds, the time spent here is truly memorable.
If you ask me whether summer or winter is better at the North Pole?
I think this city is great in every season. In summer there is a wonderful nature, an extraordinary natural life. The roads and streets are hustling and busting for 24 hours. The nev- er-setting sun and warm weather accompany the holiday- makers. There are also lots of activities. I will tell you about the activities done here in the summer in my second article. As you may appreciate it is impossible to be able to fit all of its beauties on a few pages.
Rovaniemi is definitely one of the most beautiful destina- tions to spend time with children.
