Dünyanın en keyi i işlerinden biri burda yapılıyor. So- ğuğa alışık olan Husky köpeklerinin kızakları çekmesiyle yapılan safari. Huskiler -60’lara kadar yaşıyabilen, sıcak havada ciddi sağlık sorunları yaşayan, hareketli, kıpır kıpır, kızak çekme işinde kullanılan hayvanlar oluyorlar. 10 tane köpek arka arkaya dizilerek 5 kilometre boyunca turistlere unutulmaz anlar yaşatıyorlar. Tabii kaç kilometre olacağı turistler tarafından belirleniyor. Biz 5 kilometreyi seçtik ve yaklaşık 15 dakika sürdü unutulmaz safarimiz. Özellikle de çocuklar bu safariden çok hoşlanıyor. Bizim Yakupcan bu safariye hayran kaldı. Altımızda geyik deriler, üstümüzde geyik postları ve polarlar üşümeden bu seyahati tamam- lıyoruz. Son sürat koşan köpekler, bembeyaz karlarla, çam ağaçları ile mükemmel duruyor. Bu köpekler sayesinde Ku- zey Kutbu’nda inanılmaz anlar yaşanıyor. Husky köpekleri ile yapılan safari ortamı yansıtan en güzel unsurlardan.
Burda 6 ay 2 metreye yakın kar olduğundan dolayı insan- ların bazı noktalara araçla gitmeleri imkânsız. Bu sebeple tarihte nasılsa bugün de halâ köylerde, kırsal alanlarda kı- zaklarla insanlar ulaşımlarını sağlamaya devam ediyorlar. Ve bu safari de yerlilerin nasıl yaşadığını bizlere gösteren güzel bir deneyim oluyor.

Kuzey Kutbu’nda, nerede konaklanır diye sorarsanız? Ormanların arasında minik minik ahşaptan yapılmış evler var. Hem yöresel hayatların anlaşılması için, hem de orta- mın daha güzel hissedilmesi için ormanların içindeki minik evlerde bir iki gün kalmak lazım. Biz de ormanların arasın- da, bembeyez karla kaplı bir ormanda unutulmaz 2 gece geçirdik. Dev bir camla kaplanmış odanın en güzel yanla- rından biri, geceleyin camımızdan Kuzey Işıkları’nı izleyebi- lecek olmamız. Peki nedir bu Kuzey Işıkları?
Husky Safari
You may enjoy here one of the most pleasant activities in the world. The safari led by huskies, very familiar with the cold. Huskies can live on in the cold weather, down to -60°C, and they experience health problems when it is too hot. They are very moving and they are used to pull the sled. 10 dogs are used for pulling the sled and tourists enjoy an unforgettable ride for 5 km. Evidently, the tourists decide on the distance. We have chosen 5 km. ride and our safari lasted approximately 15 minutes. Particularly kids are en- joying this safari very much. Yakupcan just admired the ride. They are laying deer skin rugs on the sledge and we are cov- ered with deerskins and polar sweaters, we completed the ride without getting cold. The dogs running at top speed, white snow and pine trees, the view is stunning. Thanks to these dogs, you may experience incredible moments in the Northern Pole. The safari with Husky dogs is one of the most beautiful experiences re ecting the environment.
Since the snow depth reaches 2 meters for 6 months, thus, it is impossible to reach some places with a vehicle. That is why people tend to use sleds for transportation in rural areas and countryside. In addition, this safari is a beau- tiful experience that shows us how the locals live.
Tree House Hotel
If you ask me where to stay in the North Pole, there are small houses made of wood in the forest. I recommend staying for a day or two in these small houses for better understanding the local life and better experiencing the environment. We also spend 2 unforgettable nights in a forest, full of snow. One of the most beautiful parts of the room with a oor to ceiling glass window, you can enjoy the Northern Lights from your room. Let me talk about the Northern lights.
