bir şeyleri beraber yapmanın ve birlikte başarmanın mut- luluk verdiğini dile getiriyor. Tablo yapan ve tasarımlarla uğraşan; ama bir türlü bunları sergileme imkanı bulama- yan benim için de bu tip şeyleri duymak heyecan verici. İnsanların yaptıkları işleri sergileme imkanı verenlere hay- ranım. Onlar, benim gözümde kahramanlar... :)
“Eğer, modacı olmasaydınız, hangi mesleği seçerdiniz?” sorusuna, kahkaha atarak, “Eğer sesim güzel olsaydı, şarkıcı olabilirdim.” diyor... Ve sonra, “Annem tasarımcı, annean- nem terzi, babam trikocu... Böyle bir ailede büyüdüm ve 10 yaşımdan beri ‘Ne olmak istiyorsun?’ diye sorulduğunda, ‘modacı’ diyorum; başka meslek bilmiyorum” diyor...
me to listen to her, since I paint and design at the same time, but I do not  nd the opportunity to exhibit them. I admire people who give an opportunity to other people for an exhibition. These are heroes according to me... :)
When someone asked, “If you were not a fashion de- signer, what profession would you choose?” she answers laughingly. “I could have been a singer if my voice was beautiful. My mom is a designer, my grandmother is a tai- lor, my dad is a knitting expert... I grew up in such a family and since I was 10 when they asked me what I would like to do, I always answered as ‘fashion designer’, I do not know any other profession.”

The December issue during Mrs. Vreeland’s tenure at Vogue was the most lavish of the year. Celebrating far-away locales and fantastical themes, the book was about travel and inspiration. In the spirit of the December issue and the holiday season, we celebrate the unique destinations that inspired our scents.
