Bu harika ve keyi i söyleşinin ardından ise, kariyerine Harper’s Bazaar’da moda editörü olarak başlayan ve daha sonra Vogue Dergisi’nin moda direktörü olan Diana Vree- land’ın hayatını konu edinen “The Eye Has To Travel” adlı belgesel film, Türkiye’de ilk kez seyircsiyle buluştu. Filmin yönetmeni Lisa Immordino, Diana Vreeland isminin moda dünyasında özel bir yeri olduğunu söylüyor:

Following this enjoyable and wonderful interview, the documentary lm “The Eye Has To Travel” aired the rst time in Turkey. The documentary is about the life of Diana Vreeland who started her career as a Fashion Editor at Harper’s Bazaar and became the editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine. The director of Lisa Immordino says that Diana Vreeland has a special place in the fashion world:
“She had a unique place in the world of fashion. In fact, this was her reference point since she was original and vi- sionary in the fashion world. Editorship in fashion start- ed with her. This word was invented after her twenty-six years of experience at Harper’s Bazaar”.
I had the opportunity to learn about the legend of Diana Vreeland yesterday for the rst time and I am extremely impressed. I can even say that I have found some similar treats in her; the fact that she adores glitter and leopard pattern is one our common treats. :)
Diana Vreeland is an icon that pushed the boundaries of the fashion, having an extraordinary point of view over the world. After working as fashion editor at Harper’s Ba- zaar between 1937 and 1962, Vreeland started to work in Vogue. She worked as editor-in-chief until 1971 at Vogue and shaped the way of the magazine.
