 Due to the higher nutritional value of fruits and vegetables eaten in the season, we shared our October Healthy Food Calendar with our employees this month, together with the content prepared by our company dietician Bahattin Arslan.
  WHAT TO EAT
In terms of fruit;
Mandarin from the citrus family, which stands out with its unique aroma in autumn and contains many vitamins.

Minerals:
Calsium, Iran, Phosphorus
Detox water with Tangerine (125 Calories)
Let’s add 2 sliced tangerines, half of a sliced lemon, 1 yellow apple, 10 leaves of mint, 1 stick of cinnamon, 2 cloves,
1 teaspoon of brown sugar into 1 liter of water. Let’s keep the mixture closed in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, our detox water is ready to consume. * It must be consumed on the same day.

In terms of vegetables;
Cauliflower, indispensable on the tables, with its unique taste and high nutritional value.

       Cauliflower with Yogurt (150 Calories)
Cut half a head of cauliflower into florets, put them in a saucepan and add water up to half of it and let’s cook them until they soften for 15 minutes. We can prevent the smell by adding 1 teaspoon of salt and
1 teaspoon of vinegar. Let’s strain the water and wait for them to cool. Let’s add yogurt, 1 clove of crushed garlic and salt according to our taste to a bowl and mix them. Let’s take the salad on a serving plate and decorate it with olive oil, walnuts, chili peppers and chopped parsley.
  During the COVID-19 process, it is more essential to keep our physical and mental health in balance and to strengthen our immunity. These days, we shared the seasonal fruits and vegetables suitable to be consumed in October and our healthy plate recipe recommendations.
