Is it possible not to get angry? | Özge Özdemir
Teacher İpek during an event of the philosophy club asks, “In which situations can a person feel anger or rage? , everybody has so many things to explain and here an in- tense discussion begins. In the book called “Is it possible not to get angry?”, children discuss concepts such as justice/injustice, resentment, anger, rage, self-esteem, understanding, love through mythological heroes.
Using the discussions made during “Philosophy for Children” workshops conducted with children be- tween the ages of 9-12 by philosophy teacher Özge Özdemir, the book offers an interesting text for chil- dren including philosophy and critical thinking. Ezgi Platin’s “letter drawings” contained in the books bring an entertaining interpretation to the concepts. (From the Bulletin)
