Parker, merkezi ısıtma sisteminin ve ilk gazlı fırının mucidi. Sitemin patentini 1919 yılında alan Parker, oda sıcaklığının düzenlenmesi ve sıcaklığı odadan odaya ta- şıyabilme özelliğini hayata geçirdi.
Merkezi ısıtma sistemi için hazırladığı çizimlerine ga- zın ısınması yoluyla çalışan fırının projesini de ekledi ve bunun da patentini aldı. Bu sistemle beraber, evde ısıt- ma amaçlı kullanılan tüm aletler, tek bir merkezi ısıtma sistemine bağlandı. Günümüzde, hala Parker’ın icadını kullanıyoruz.
Parker is inventor of the central heating system and the rst gas oven. Parker, who took out the patent of the system in 1999, put the arrangement of room tempera- ture and the feature to be able to carry the temperature from the room to the room into practice.
She also added the project of the oven, which works by heating the gas, to the drawings she prepared for the central heating system, and she also took out the patent of it. Along with this system, all appliances used at home for heating were connected to a single central heating system. Today, we still use Parker’s invention.
Stephanie Kwolek
Kwolek, kurşungeçirmez yeleğin mucidi. 1923’te ABD’de dünyaya gelen Kowlek’in 1963’te icad ettiği “Kevlar” adı verilen sert ve dayanıklı materyal sayesinde, günümüzde kolluk kuvvetlerinin kullandığı kurşunge- çirmez üretiliyor. “Kevlar” teknolojisi ile aynı zamanda, asma köprü halatı, kask, fren balatası, kamp ekipmanları ve kayak takımı üretimi de yapılabiliyor.
Kwolek is inventor of bullet-proof vest. Thanks to the hard and durable material called “Kevlar”, which was in- vented in 1963 by Kowlek, who was born in 1923 in the USA, today the bullet-proof used by law enforcement o cers is produced. At the same time by the “Kevlar” technology the suspension bridge rope, helmet, brake lining pads, camping equipments and ski kit production can also be made.
Valentina Tereshkova
Valentina Tereshkova, 16 Haziran 1963’te uzaya çıkan ilk kadın ve ilk sivil. Emekli Sovyet Kozmonotu ve bir si- yasetçi olan Tereshkova, 6 Mart 1937 tarihinde Rusya’da dünyaya geldi. Vostok 6 pilotluğu için 400’ü aşkın başvu- ru yaparak, beş finalist arasından birinci seçildi ve dün- yanın yörüngesinde 48 tur atarak yaklaşık 3 gün geçirdi.
Valentina Tereshkova is the rst woman and rst ci- vilian to go to space on June 16, 1963. Tereshkova, a retired Soviet Cosmonaut and a politician, was born on March 6, 1937 in Russia. She made for over 400 applica- tions for Vostok 6 piloting, was selected rst among the ve nalists and spent about 3 days by making 48 tours around the world’s orbit.
