Vaka çalışmalarımızın ilkini Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi Textile Summit 2020 etkinliği kapsamında gerçekleştir- dik. Tekstil Mühendisliği 4. Sınıf öğrencileriyle buluştu- ğumuz çalışmada Kurumsal Akademi Mesleki Uzmanlık Geliştirme Müdürümüz Dr. İbrahim Güneş teoriyi pratiğe taşıyabilecekleri “Gerçek Hayatta Yaşanan Kıyafetlerdeki Sorun Tanımı ve Çözüm Önerileri’’ vakasıyla oldukça in- teraktif bir çalışma ortamı oluşturdu. Ardından Kurumsal Akademi Değerlendirme Müdürümüz Zafer Önder ise beynin sol lobunu çalıştırmaya yönelik “Mağaza Stok&Ü- rün Karışım Planı’’ başlıklı vaka çalışmasını uyguladı. Her iki vaka sonunda da birinci olan takım alkışlanırken tüm öğrencilerimize kitap hediye ederek bu tür çalışmalara katılımları ödüllendirildi.
Diğer vaka çalışmamız ise Sabancı Üniversitesi IMIS’20 etkinliği kapsamında BT Uygulama Geliştirme Direktörü- müz Altan Evni ve Veri Koordinatörümüz Uğur Kaplan ile birlikte gerçekleştirildi. IMIS’20 etkinliği içeriğinde yalnız- ca LC Waikiki’ye özel olarak açılan vaka çalışması başlığı ile Sabancı Üniversitesi öğrencileriyle bir araya gelerek ‘’Fashion Retail Merchandising Planning’’ vakasını uygu- ladık. Bu vaka ile öğrencilere yalnızca sonucun değil so- nuca giden yolda uğradığımız durakların da önemi, “ne” sorusu kadar “nasıl” sorusunun da bizim için kıymetli ol- duğu paylaşıldı.
Altan Evni ve Uğur Kaplan’ın hazırlayıp uyguladığı ‘’Fashi- on Retail Merchandising Planning’’ vakası aynı zamanda Boğaziçi Üniversitesi EBEC Mühendislik Kulübünün Av- rupa BEST Mühendislik Yarışması kapsamında da uygu- landı. Avrupa’nın 97 seçkin üniversitesinde yerel ayakları gerçekleştirilen bu yarışmanın Boğaziçi Üniversitesi yerel ayağında LC Waikiki olarak case sponsorluğunda yer alıp öğrencilerin verilen süre içerisinde bir probleme yenilik- çi ve gerçekçi çözümler üretme kabiliyetlerini ölçtük. Bu kapsamlı yarışmanın bir üst basamağına geçmeleri için katkı sağladığımız Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’ne EBEC Turkey ayağında başarılar dileriz.
Boğaziçi Üniversitesi EBEC’20
We have realized the first of our case studies within the scope of Bursa Uludağ University Textile Summit 2020. In the activity, where we met with 4th class students of Tex- tile Engineering, our Corporate Academy Professional Ex- pertise Development Manager Dr. İbrahim Güneş created a highly interactive working environment with the case entitled “Problem Definition and Solution Suggestions in Real Life Clothes”, enabling them to put the theory into practice. Then, our Corporate Academy Assessment Man- ager, Zafer Önder, applied the case study entitled “Store Stock & Product Mixing Plan”, to operate the left lobe of the brain. While the first team was applauded at the end of both cases, we have rewarded all our students with books for their participation in such studies.
Our other case study is realized with the scope of Sa- bancı University IMIS’20 by our IT Application Develop- ment Director Altan Evni and our Data Coordinator Uğur Kaplan. In the context of the IMIS’20 event, we came to- gether with the students of Sabancı University with the title of the case study opened exclusively for LC Waikiki and applied the “Fashion Retail Merchandising Planning” case. With this case, we have explained to the students that the result itself is not important, but the steps lead- ing to the result are also important, and the question of “how” as well as the question of “what” is valuable.
“Fashion Retail Merchandising Planning” case prepared and implemented by Altan Evni and Uğur Kaplan is also implemented with the scope of the European BEST En- gineering Competition organized by Boğaziçi University EBEC Engineering Club. Holding the local rounds of this competition, participated by 97 prominent universi- ties in Europe, we have participated as LC Waikiki with a sponsorship of a case and measured the ability of the students to produce innovative and realistic solutions. We wish success to the Boğaziçi University at EBEC Tur- key, where we have contributed to their qualification for next stage of this comprehensive competition.
