“There is” y “There are“ significan hay en Español. “There is” se usa para
referirse a cosas en singular mientras que “There are” se usa para hablar cosas en
plural.

Ejemplo:

There is a church = Hay una Iglesia

There is a clothing store = Hay una tienda de ropa

Negative form:

There isn’t a park = No hay un parque

There isn’t a supermarket in my city = No hay un supermercado en la Ciudad.

Preposition of places -preposiciones de lugar

Por ejemplo:

The hospital is near the gas station= El Hospital está cerca de la estación de
gasolina

The fire station is next to the red cross= La estación de bomberos está cerca de la
cruz roja
