CUFI Live Events
Over the past few months, CUFI supporters have had the opportunity to hear
from numerous special guests on a variety of topics related to Israel.
On Holocaust Memorial Day, CUFI
was joined by Vera Bernstein, the
eldest child of Holocaust survivors
from Slovakia, who shared her
family’s powerful story of survival
during the Holocaust, as well as
heartbreaking loss.
Jeremy Wootliff , of the GPS
Network, discussed combati ng
the anti -Israel boycott movement
that is infl uencing Britain’s local
councils, as well as how CUFI
supporters can get involved.
We listened to a briefi ng on the
Middle East Confl ict from Efrat
Perri, the Director of Public
Diplomacy at the Israeli Embassy,
who provided an in-depth update
on the Israel-Iran war, including
explaining why Israel had to act.
Leah Benoz, a researcher
from CAMERA, gave a
presentati on on the BBC’s
failures in its reporti ng of
the Israel-US and Iran war,
including how the BBC
makes narrati ve choices
that can lead viewers to the
wrong conclusions.
We were also privileged to
speak with Colonel Richard
Kemp, a former commander
in the Briti sh Armed Forces,
who commanded Briti sh
troops in Afghanistan,
Iraq, and Northern Ireland.
Colonel Kemp shared his
expert analysis on the war
with Iran and answered
questi ons from CUFI
supporters.

CUFI’s Alastair Kirk and GPS Network’s Jeremy
Wootliff were invited onto GB News to share
about anti semiti sm in the UK following the event in
Parliament. The event was also covered by the Daily
Mail helping to spread coverage further.
Additi onally, an op-ed writt en by CUFI and GPS
Network and other reports were published in various
press, including Jewish News and Jewish Chronicle.
We hope that this additi onal exposure has helped
to raise awareness for the plight of Jews facing
anti semiti sm here in Britain.
