Christians United for Israel
UK’s Torch magazine.
When the Israelites
prepared to journey towards the
Promised Land, Moses asked of the
Lord, “If Your Presence does not go
with us, do not bring us up from here,”
(Exodus 33:15).
Asking the Lord to lead is a valuable
Biblical principle that we should apply
to every area of our lives. We saw a
similar theme when King Jehoshaphat
waited on the Lord to seek His leading
before entering into battle. This is the
same sentiment that Prime Minister
Netanyahu demonstrated when he
stood and prayed at the Western Wall
on the eve of entering into battle
against the Iranian regime. He wrote a
note quoting Numbers 23, “The people
shall rise up like a lion,” and inserted
it into a crevice. It laid the foundation
for Israel’s incredible success, in which
Israel and the US obliterated Iran’s
immediate nuclear threat.
In this issue of Torch, we share the
amazing way in which the Lord led
Israel in its decisive action and how the
Jewish people rose up like a roaring lion.
In a related article, we explain the evil
ideology held by the Islamic Republic of
Iran, and why Israel was right to act.
When CUFI UK started 10 years ago
this year, our heart was also to seek His
leading before launching. Our desire was
to align with what God says in His Word
about Israel and the Jewish people and
make a difference in our nation. After
our first decade, we can testify that
God has been faithful in battle. We are
thankful for every CUFI supporter who
has stood alongside us and enabled us

to rise up with a united voice. As we
look ahead, we renew our desire for Him
to lead. In this issue, I answer questions
reflecting on the past 10 years and share
what I believe are the challenges ahead.
We continue the ‘Debunking
Replacement Theology’ series with
one of Scripture’s most hard-hitting
destroyers of replacement theology
– Romans chapter 11. This important
article is a must-read for every Christian
and an important resource for anyone
confronted with the lie that the Church
has replaced Israel.
The UN has a blood libel problem,
and it is getting worse. We explain how
the UN is demonizing Israel on a scale
like never before. We also share the
story of a Holocaust survivor who was
one of the victims of the antisemitic
attack in Boulder, Colorado, in June. Her
journey of fleeing antisemitism in her
childhood, only to experience it again
first-hand in 2025, is harrowing, and
a reminder of the need for us to fight
antisemitism head-on.
