 Prayer Pointers for
Praying against Coronavirus
“Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us
and our little ones and all our possessions.
“So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.” Ezra 8:21,23
REFUGE
• Pray for God’s protection over your family.
• Name those close to you and whoever God may place specifically on your heart.
• Pray that you will have wisdom to decide where is essential to go to and what may not be priorities.
• Intercede that God will protect this nation and that the virus will be stopped.
• Intercede for specific nations that God may place on your heart, for example, the US, China, Italy, Spain and others
• Pray for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem.
• Pray for those most vulnerable in society, including the elderly and those with underlying illnesses.
• Pray for the children we know – may they develop a strong faith in God through this experience.
• Pray that those who are isolated physically, or feeling isolated emotionally, will find strength.
RESTORATION
• Pray for healing for those who are suffering with this illness, including those concerned that they may have symptoms. May the peace of God bring calm and comfort during
  REPENTANCE

• Bless the Lord God, the God of
Israel, whose glorious name will be
forever (Ps. 17-19)
• Come before Him confessing your
sins and thanking Him for His
forgiveness and mercy.
• Pray that this nation, which is being
humbled, will turn back to God. (2
Chronicles 7:14)
• Pray that hearts will turn to Almighty
God for help at this time of trial.
• Pray that God will heal our land.
REMEMBRANCE
• Remember that the Lord is a covenant keeping God and is faithful to keep His promises.
• Thank God for who He is and for what He has done for you.
• Remember that He is Creator and the giver of life.
• Remember that there is safety in abiding under the shadow of the Almighty.
• Remember that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4)
• Pray for God’s protection over this land, asking for His deliverance from this destructive virus.
