this time.
• Pray for those who are mourning the
loss of a loved one.
• Pray for those who have lost jobs or
are struggling financially due to loss of work. May the Lord restore what the locusts have eaten.
• Pray that those who are experiencing panic and anxiety will know your perfect peace. Pray against the spirit of fear that is sweeping the nation. Ask God for courage
• Pray that those unable to attend church gatherings will experience the joy of God’s presence at home and have a sense of His love. Pray that the Church will emerge bolder and thirstier through this storm.
RELIEF
• Pray for Godly wisdom for the government to know how to advise correctly for our well-being. Pray that our leaders will humble themselves to God and submit
to His authority. Pray also for
this nation’s economy and future prosperity. Amid the confusion and the chaos, pray for clarity.
• Pray for those who work in the health service, for NHS staff, doctors, nurses and other staff working to care for those affected with long hours and at greater risk to themselves.
• Pray for those whose vocation is to look after the elderly and other essential services that cannot stop
in this outbreak.
• Pray for the health of our Queen, the
Prime Minister and government.
REACH OUT
• Pray that our neighbours, our friends, family and colleagues will see the hope and compassion evidenced in those that place their trust in the Lord.
• Pray for your next-door neighbour. See if there is anything you can do to help them and show God’s love to them.
• Pray that we will all be examples of putting others before ourselves, to seek out those who are in greatest need.
• Pray for your local community, for schools, businesses, restaurants and other places impacted. Pray that the disruption will soon come to an end.
• Pray for your local church family, especially those who are in need or struggling right now.
• Pray for those in church leadership, that they will have discernment in how the church can minister to the needs in the community.
REJOICE
• Praise that God is still on the throne. • Praise that we are safe and secure
in the certainty that our lives
are not driven by fear but by the faithfulness of God who loves us.
• Praise that God’s plan and purpose will come to pass.
    Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
