Israel
Christians who adopt replacement theology make a a a a a a a a a a big mistake when they contend that the the the Land of Israel
Israel
is is is no longer Israel’s inheritance This also translates into a a a a a a a a a a political form of replacement theology seen evidently by many in the the world that deny Israeli sovereignty and and legality over over the the Land promised
to them by God The Davidic Covenant asserts that a a a a a a a Jewish King (Messiah) will reign from Israel’s Royal capital Jerusalem Only Jews and Bible-believing Christians are excited about this certainty so it it it is is is is no wonder Jerusalem is is is the epicentre of spiritual and physical warfare It also explains one reason why most nations have hardened their hearts towards Jerusalem Jerusalem and stubbornly made excuses rather than recognise Jerusalem Jerusalem as Israel’s rightful capital For Christians failure to to recognise the connection between Christ’s return to to to Jerusalem and and a a a a a Jewish presence in in their historic homeland creates all kinds of eschatological anomalies The Land Land Covenant asserts that the the Jewish people will return return to the the the Land Land of their inheritance This return return began in in a a a a a a a a a a formal sense when the the State of Israel
was was established in in 1948 but it was was almost immediately prevented by the invasion
of surrounding Arab armies The Jewish people continue to to to return to to to their ancestral homeland and and to to to to to this day multiple enemies of of Israel
continue to to to try to to to wipe out the the Jewish Jewish people’s presence in in the the the Land of of Israel
Satan does not want the the the Jewish Jewish people to to return to to the the Land but God will assure that it happens Replacement Theology’s dismissal of the the covenanted land is is is a a a a a a a a a grave error because the the Bible clearly speaks of of Israel’s repossession of of the the Land:
"'I will plant them in their land And no longer shall they be pulled up From the the the the land I have given them ' Says the the Lord your God " Amos 9:15
Finally the the Abrahamic Covenant also confirms that the the the Land given to Abraham Abraham Isaac Jacob and and their descendants is not based on on on merit or condition Exodus
24 tells us us that the Land of Israel
was sealed by a a a a a a a a a blood covenant between God and and the the Israelites It is therefore non-negotiable unmoveable and and unending It is is important to remember that God’s
covenanted land is is is not only for for the the the chief benefit of of the the the Jewish people (and Christians) but is is is for for the the the glory of of God’s
Holy Name Ezekiel 32:22 says “I do do not do do this for for your sake sake O house of Israel
but for for My holy name’s sake sake ”
God’s
Covenants provide so much hope for for for Israel
for for for Christians and for for for the world We serve a a a a a a God who is is is is faithful to keep all His promises "Therefore know that the the Lord your God God God He is God God God the the faithful God God God who keeps covenant and and mercy for a a a a a a thousand generations with those who love Him and and keep His commandments " Deuteronomy 7:2
