Speaking in Jerusalem, the Bahraini Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani said, “the whole world is watching, and we are determined to make this a success story and a case study for others.”
Peace between Bahrain and Israel
“leaves this world a better place for future generations than the one we inherited,” he told Netanyahu. “Peace has been signed, the foundation has been laid. It is now upon us... to move forward and forge peace by having direct, constant integration between business communities, which we believe will filter down to the common citizen.”
“We are genuine about this and fully committed...We’re moving at quite a fast pace because we want to catch up on lost time,” Al Zayani said.

Prime Minister Netanyahu welcomed the first-ever official UAE delegation to Israel in October hailing it as a “glorious day of peace.”
"Jews and Arabs are descendants of one common ancestor - Avraham, Abraham," Netanyahu said.
"We are making history in a way that will stand for generations."
"I think that the visit of such a high level delegation from the UAE... will show our peoples, the region and the entire
world the benefit of having friendly, peaceful and normal exchanges."
Building new friendships
This outstanding photo overlooking Dubai is of Norah Alawadhi (Left) pictured with Ronny Gonen, a travel blogger from Israel. Norah told Gulf News, “[Ronny] was on a visit here and I was introduced to her by someone I know.”
Norah had already started talking to people from Israel ever since the UAE first spoke about normalisation of ties with Israel and had met Ronny casually upon which she asked if Norah could join her for a photo for her blog ‘to make an impact’. Norah readily agreed. But it was only when they reached the terrace of an 80-storey tower facing Burj Khalifa that both the women realised the risk they were taking for the shoot.
It was windy and they had to climb some steps and jump down a few to get on to the place that gave the perfect background of Burj Khalifa.
