President Report February 2023:

The tour of Fer’s flower farm was absolutely wonderful. He welcomed us to his home and gave us a
tour of his 10 acre property. It was something different to do on a sunny afternoon and I must thank
Dianna & Chris for the scone baking and all the trimmings to go with them and also thanks to those
who brought nibblies to share for the afternoon tea, whilst singing Happy Birthday to Mark. I wonder
who else has an interest in something that could be shared, maybe?? If anyone has a special little
place they like, come tell us about it so we can bring people to share the “ambience”, not just for rides
but we welcome new ideas suitable for restaurant nights too.
We’ve started the year off with great rides, outings and the BBQ brekky on Australia Day. Thanks to
Mark and Julie for leading us to great places and somewhere different too.

We are now planning the Black Dog 1 Dayer Ride 19th March and another sausage sizzle for the next
quarter of the calendar.
I hope to see you out and about soon.

Secretary Report February 2023
Hi Everyone,
A big thankyou to all the members that have sent me photos this month & also
those that have sent in a story with them. If you would like to help out at the
Black Dog Ride, please come & see me. We need lots of corner markers, so
please put your name down. Thankyou to those that have already volunteered.

A story on Burt Munro this month as well, from the hardware store in Invercargill
in NZ! I hope you enjoy reading about this amazing man.
