Parade
There will not be a parade at the 2024 Rally as traffic management costs and
requirements no longer make this an affordable event for the club.
Police & Road Rules
Q; Are there any special road rules I need to be aware of?
A; Yes – If you are towing anything then you are limited to a maximum open
road speed of 100kph.
Be warned, the Police will fine you if you are caught - especially on the
Nullarbor where patrol cars sometime set multiple speed traps in the same
section of road.
Caravans and trailers – please ensure that your vehicle does not exceed its
legal load rating as you will be fined if you are overloaded.
Police are targeting caravans for overloading on major routes such as the
Nullarbor.
Shops
Q; What facilities are close to the Rally venue?
A; Town of Pinjarra is about 14km to the east of the Rally site and has a large
range of shops
A; Mandurah Forum Shopping Centre is about 3km west of the Rally venue.
A; The centre of the City of Mandurah is on the estuary about 5km west of the
Rally venue.
Tent City
There will not be a tent city at the Rally as there is insufficient room on site
and the costs per tent is now very high with a minimum number requirement
making it uneconomical.
We suggest members wishing to camp to either, bring their own gear, or if this
is not practical then buy a cheap tent etc from a local camping supply store -
this will cost you less than a tent in city tent
