Q: Are there any special road rules I need to be aware of?
A: Yes – If you are towing then you are limited to a maximum open
road speed of 100kph.
Be warned, the Police will fine you if you are caught.
Q: What special preparations should I make for the trip?
A: Have your bike fully serviced and ensure that you have enough tyre
tread for at least 3500 kilometres of travel from Adelaide, plus extra
if you intend to take any detours on the way to the Rally. Special
Tyres sizes are in limited supply outside Perth and Adelaide so plan
ahead
There are limited motorcycle service facilities between Port
Augusta SA, and Kalgoorlie in WA
Q: How can I book replacement tyres and have my motorcycle
serviced before I return to the Eastern States?
A: See the Rally website for Motorcycle Dealers and tyres suppliers
It strongly recommended that you contact a supplier and make
arrangements to order your tyres before coming to the Rally
Q: Why should I come all the way to WA for a Ulysses Club Rally?
A: Because if you have not done it before you will have the great
adventure of your life crossing this great country via the Nullarbor
Plain, find plenty of things to see and do in WA
Go to westernaustralia for further information.
Remember WA Ulysseans cross the Nullarbor most years to attend
Ulysses Rallies in the Eastern States.
