President Report September 2022:
What a huge month we have just finished. Our Bunnings Baldivis Sausage Sizzle was a huge success. A
massive THANK YOU to Chris and Dianna for all the organising, sorting, working and support that you
do for all of us. Please raise your glass and cheers them occasionally, I’m sure they would appreciate
it. See the report in this newsletter. Looking ahead we have the annual Odyssey at the end of this
month, hosted by Geraldton. It looks to be another great get-together with other branch members.
Please keep Saturday 10th December free for our WSW party. The venue is Nae’s Seafood & Grill
5pm – 11pm. Our Christmas menu is a roast pork with all the trimmings, ham off the bone, prawn
cutlets, garden salad and coleslaw and dinner rolls. Dessert Apple crumble, custard, ice-cream, fresh
fruit salad. We will have a coffee/tea station but please BYO alcohol (& esky). Tickets will be on sale
soon.

There are still a few people who are unwell, having treatments, surgeries and procedures, as we all
know… it sucks getting old! Let’s enjoy life in the best possible way. There are more great rides ahead
so I hope to see you out and about.

Secretary Report September 2022
Hi Everyone,
Humanitix is the company that takes the registrations for Black dog & charge
about 1 percent booking fee. Did you know they are also a charity? A note from
them: “We’re a bit over halfway through 2022, and we’re chuffed that we have
already donated $615,333! These donations have meant essential contributions
towards education projects for disadvantaged kids in Australia, New Zealand, the
US and low-income countries that are all working towards an equitable world for
humanity.” So even the booking fee goes to a good cause!
