Oct 2022 Exhaust Notes - Edition No 318 

Recently on a day out with some friends, I noticed some old acquaintances at the Apollo Bay Service
      Station.
Quite interesting to see a certain person who remains nameless for this article “escorting” a group of
riders on Royal Enfields and other budget motorcycles. Now this person used to own a business in
Geelong West, which also boasted a motorcycle travel option to the business.
Our group consisted of people who had paid deposits of between $500 to $2000 in late 2019 to go on
a motorcycle trip in Patagonia with this now non-existing company. I know of others who had either
owed money, paid deposits or paid the full cost of overseas trips run by this company.

The trips never went ahead, due to COVID. The company disappeared (due to COVID?) Our money
disappeared (due to liquidation). Was there any bankruptcy declared? I don’t know.

Interesting that this person is forward enough to be showing his face in the geographical area
pertaining to his former business, where he is likely to encounter people like ourselves. I guess there
is no sense of guilt with some people.
