Chris Hill’s Ride - Wednesday 8 March

A day that was supposed to be very hot and rainy ended up being extremely windy with little rain. Eight
riders gathered looking for coffee, cake and good conversation ... as well as a motorbike ride. Chris hadn't
led a ride for a while so he, having mentally planned a ride to the french patisserie, volunteered to lead the
way.
We went to the Whoop De Doos in Brigadoon and then O'Briens Rd, cutting across to Parkerville, Mund-
aring with a brief comfort stop at the Weir. After a quick stretch of the legs we ventured onto Pickering
Brook and then came back into Kalamunda, Gooseberry Hill when we remembered about the coffee and
cake we had been seeking. As usual the French Patisserie did not disappoint. A big welcome to Don on his
VStrom who joined us for his first Wednesday ride ... we hope you enjoyed the ride. Thank you to Paul for
TEC duties.
We missed Heggie today and wish him a speedy recovery. Hope Pom is also up to joining us again very
soon.
