The Pyrenees Peregrination

Come and join us on another interesting journey – this one along the Pyrenees Highway and
throughout the Pyrenees Mountain Range in Central Victoria.

In case you’re wondering, the meaning of Peregrination is a journey, especially a long or meandering
one, or a wandering, an exploration, an odyssey, or travel.
So, we have it ALL covered!

The Pyrenees Highway (the B180 with a full length of over 200km) goes from Elphinstone, near
Castlemaine, to Glenthompson, near Dunkeld. BUT – we won’t be doing the full length this time, as we
did for the Midland Hwy last year, as we have mountains and valleys to explore!

We will be travelling along some of the Pyrenees Highway, and passing through places like Newstead,
Maryborough, Avoca and Elmhurst.
We will also explore lesser-known localities including Moonambel, Glenlofty, Mt Lonarch, Waterloo,
Navarre and Raglan.

Shared accommodation has been arranged at The Moonambel Hotel Resort.
Despite being called a Resort – it is a down-to-earth country pub with many rooms.
A detailed list of options and costs is below. Prices depend on room choice.
All rooms use shared bathroom facilities, unless otherwise specified.
We have limited places available – 13 – so they will go in order of bookings.
(Plus 3 more places for higher priced rooms – see list below).
Accommodation includes breakfast. The Hotel has good evening meals at pub prices.
