BRMSTIK BABBLE! President Report April 2024:

Winter is fast approaching us, so lets get riding together while the weather is perfect. Our ride
calendar has some empty spaces, so please phone Chris Glover 0419919275 to add a ride.
Our Branch AGM will take place in May. If you would like to join in the official running of the Branch
please phone me 0402955399 to get a nomination form, before nominations close.
This latest communication from the National Office is still very important. Please ensure your contact
details e.g email address, mobile phone, home address etc are up-to-date. The ongoing issues with
members not letting Admin know of these changes is a constant problem. It is your responsibility to
notify them when these change, and it will help them get notices to you e.g. membership renewals,
on line Riding On magazine and all the Intercoms. Looking ahead we have the Winter Rally in Exmouth
in June and the Odyssey in Esperance in September. Better get
cracking if you are going to join us.

Secretary Report April 2024
Hi Everyone,
Wow what a week last week. All the preparation for the Black Dog Baldivis 1 Dayer, the hectic ride on
the day, then race back & load up for the National Rally in Mandurah before an 8 am start in Pinjarra
getting ready to hand over the pre-ordered merchandise!
Thankyou to everyone that helped the Black Dog ride run so well. I had several people say how
smoothly everything went (they obviously didn’t talk to tail end Charlie Mark!!). With over 30
volunteers, I won’t mention names in case I miss someone!

Also a lot of Warnbro members helped out at the Mandurah National Rally. It was a lot different to the
rallies of old, but with the number of members dropping to all time lows, this will be the way of the
future. Unless members are prepared to pay hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars to register, bringing
in toilets, showers, security, huge marquees to a green fields site are just not viable anymore.
Hopefully future committees can find venues that can accommodate everyone that wants to attend.
