encountered parts of the text than needed more explanation:
Netivot Chayim (Rabbi Moshe Kaufman, Bnei Brak, 5765)
and chelkat binyamin (rabbi binyamin cohen, brooklyn, ny,
2004).

sefer chafetz chayim is a single volume consisting of two
parts: esurei lashon Hara and esurei rechilut. in rendering
the text into english the sefer grew to approximately 1,800
pages of Hebrew text with the english translation on the facing
page which was then divided into four volumes for the sake of
the convenience of the reader. for that same reason of reader
convenience we printed at the beginning of each volume all of
the Mekor Hachayim contained within it and then we repeated
within the body of the volume each sa’eif of the Mekor Hachayim
together with the be’er Mayim chayim commentary from which
it evolved. There are nineteen Kelalim in this sefer, followed
by ‘illustrative examples” of how to apply the halacha in our
routine lives and the translation concludes with the response of
the chavot yair.

The Kelalim are divided among the four volumes as follows:

Volume 1: esurei lashon Hara, the preface & introduction, the
