2 Art and culture go hand in hand with each
3 other. Through art, people are allowed to
4 have a closer look at cultures in an interesting
5 way. In fact, if we want to learn about a
6 culture, art is where we should start.
7 Take Taiwan for an example. It has
8 many rich and beautiful indigenous cultures.
9 People get to learn about them through art.
10 The Paiwan, for example, is famous for their
11 carving and pot art. It tells their history and
12 faith. In the same way, the Bunun people
13 pray to their gods for a good harvest with
14 singing. Their way of singing is so special that
15 many countries have invited them to perform.
16 Through art, Taiwan's indigenous cultures are
17 shared and learned.
