ATLANTA CHAPTER PARTNERS WITH SEABORN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR
TRANSFORMATIVE SERVICE PROJECT
[Atlanta, Georgia] – The Seaborn Elementary Project, an initiative led by the Atlanta Chapter of the National
Association of Black Women in Construction, is thrilled to announce the rescheduled dates for the renovation and
ribbon-cutting ceremonies. This transformational project aims to create a serene Zen Space for Health and
Wellness for educators at Seaborn Lee Elementary.
The new project timeline is as follows:
October 15: Confirmation of Campaign Donations
October 27: Procurement of Materials
October 30 - November 12: Renovation Process
TBA: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
"We are excited to present this revised timeline, which ensures that we deliver the highest quality of transformation
for Seaborn Lee Elementary," said Xiomara Yanique, President, NABWIC's Atlanta Chapter. "These new dates
provide us with the structure we need to communicate effectively with our supporters and plan a successful event."
The Seaborn Elementary Project has received moderate support from the community, including generous
pledges of donations. The rescheduled timeline allows for a comprehensive execution of the project, ensuring that
the final result truly reflects the vision of creating a serene and rejuvenating space for educators.
"We deeply appreciate the dedication of our donors and supporters who have stood with us in this journey," added
Monique Strong, Vice President, Atlanta Chapter. "The new timeline gives us the opportunity to deliver an impactful
transformation that will benefit educators and students for years to come." The ribbon-cutting ceremony, originally
planned for August, was rescheduled to allow for a more comprehensive renovation process.
The ceremony will celebrate the successful completion of the project and express gratitude to all those who
