KIWANIS CLUB OF TWEED The whole community
On May 28, Kiwanians Bob appreciates the work that
Sills and Janice McConnell Evan and the team at the
presented Evan Morton with a
$500 donation for the Tweed Historical
and Area Heritage Centre. Society/Heritage Centre
do in maintaining our
history!

MADOC LIONS CLUB
A community that cares. Awesome support for the Charity BBQ to raise money for C.O.P.E. - Agency providing services
and support to individuals with a developmental disability BBQ sponsored by Bush Furniture.
With the community donations, we raised $500+ and then the sponsor of the BBQ , Al Bush of Bush Furniture donated an
additional $500 which raised the total to over $1,000. Each Dad that attended the BBQ and visited Al Bush inside
received a Father's Day Mug.

KIWANIS CLUB OF TWEED

Well, the rain held off for the grand opening of the
Accessible Playground on June 24th - thanks to everybody
who came to show their support, and to those who made
this project a reality: all three levels of government,
community organizations, corporate and individual donors!
Last but not least, thanks to the leadership of Playground
Committee Co-chairs Jim Hanna and Fred Albert,
Committee members, the Kiwanis Club of Tweed, the
Municipality of Tweed, and ABC Recreation Ltd. It took five
years, a few ups and downs, but so well worth it!
