The Municipality of Centre Hastings is inviting members of the public to participate in a photo contest.
Take Your Best Shot!
We need your help! We want to know what “Your Centre Hastings” looks like.
Our Municipality is looking to expand our repertoire of photos to showcase what Centre Hastings has to offer! Do you have great
photos of your latest excursion, your happy place, a special moment, or amazing things you have found within the municipality? We
would love to see them! This is an opportunity for you to show off your photography skills and your community and these pictures
could be used on our website or for future publications.
The contest will run from June 1, 2021 through July 31, 2021 and the winners will be chosen by a panel of municipal staff.
There will be a first, second and third prize awarded to the individuals who submit the winning photos. Winners will receive a $50.00
gift card/certificate of their choice from a retail store or service provider within the Municipality of Centre Hastings.
How to Enter:
Take an original still photo in digital format showing Centre Hastings uniqueness. Submit it by email to info@centrehastings.com.
Photos must be submitted in digital format, as a .jpeg file and be at least 1600 pixels wide and no larger than 4MB (4,000 KB).
All submissions must include your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address of the person who took the picture.
Please read, sign, and return the Photo contest Release Rules and Consent form, along with your image(s). Please note that any
photo of a recognizable person or minor must also complete and submit this photo release form with the submission. Forms can
be submitted with the photo, or dropped off at the Municipal Office at 7 Furnace Street, Madoc ON.

The Centre Hastings Online Summer Camp will begin Tuesday, July 6th. The camp will offer four
programs: All About the Arts, Everyday Science, Gamers Squad and Let’s Get Active. The following
schedule is when the programs will be offered:

MADOC COMMUNITY POOL FUND RAISER

Wanted good clean items (no clothes) for a
fundraising yard sale for the new Madoc community
pool. Items can be dropped off at the Skate Park
between 9 am and 7 pm 7 days a week. The yard sale
will take place on July 31 and August 1. Items will be
collected up until July 15th.
