AMATEUR WINEMAKING

Rules and Regulations: This competition is open to Amateur Winemakers only.

All entries must bear the appropriate entry tag securely attached to the neck of the bottle.

No single wine may be entered in more than one category. One bottle per category for each Exhibitor. Judging will be based on

the following criteria: Colour, Clarity, Bouquet, Flavour Balance and Quality.

NOTE: No exhibits shall be taken down from display nor shall they be removed from the building or the grounds until after
3:30 p.m. Sunday. Doing so will result in disqualification of the exhibits and forfeiture of the prize money. (Strictly enforced.)

Wines to be presented in 700-750 ml bottles. Wines to be judge d at room temperature.

The building will be open on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday morning from 9.00 to 11:00 am to receive
entries. Judging takes place Friday afternoon.
