MAKING AN IMPACT, CREATING OPPORTUNITIES, BUILDING

45 years in the community. That's a long time to be making an impact, creating opportunities, and building
relationships. And that's exactly what the Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce has done for the past 45 years.
The Chamber recently celebrated their 3rd annual business awards ceremony. It was an evening filled with

celebration, recognition, and appreciation for all the hard work put in by our members, team and partners over the
years. This year the Chamber honored twelve exceptional businesses who have gone above and beyond in giving

back to the community through various initiatives such as sustainability programs, volunteerism efforts and
charitable donations.

The Chamber believes businesses should not only focus on profits but also on making a positive impact on their
surroundings. That's why every year during our business awards event, we recognize businesses that have made
significant contributions towards social responsibility initiatives.

It truly warms the hearts of the Chamber team to see so many businesses using their platform for good causes. Now
more than ever before, it is crucial for businesses to come together and support each other during these challenging

times. By continuing working together towards building a stronger community where everyone thrives, we can
achieve so much than if we were going at it alone. Together, we have the power to make a positive change that will
benefit the future generations.

Now speaking of the future, a new year is just around the corner and the Chamber will be seeing a change in their

name and branding. Effective January 1, 2025 your local chamber of commerce will be operating under a new name -
Central & North Hastings Chamber of Commerce. The change will bring new programs and more benefits for the
members, in closing, the chamber is not leaving behind a legacy but building towards a legacy that is worth

remembering.
