KHADDI K ABAB
Khaddi Kabab is a traditional Balochi Dish in which a whole lamb or goat is Barbecued in an
underground pit and put on fire above an iron sheet that wraps the trenched space. The pit is
filled with wood which is allowed to burn for a couple of hours. The ambers are then taken out
with a shovel and a marinated full lamb or goat, fixed on a huge skewer rod, is lowered in the
hot pit. The stomach of the lamb is stuffed with rice, and sealed to let it cook inside. The whole
dish, normally weighs around 10-12 kg that serves many people at one time. The combination of
rice and meat makes it a scrumptious meal that it is very hard to resist it.
