Fall’s arrival might mean the end of summer, but not the end of people getting out and about to celebrate and congre- gate for good causes. Chicago Police Officers were right there, playing, patrolling and finding smiling faces waiting for them around the city.
Commander Bauer Softball Tournament
A tradition with deep meaning — the annual Commander Bau- er Softball Tournament — brought police officers from around the area to Hamlin Park. Among those vying for the Bauer Cup were the CPD Softball 29ers, who wore Bauer’s name proudly on their backs.
