Local organziations give 12th District Officers a treat
12th District officers received treats and refreshments in a show of appreciation by Farmers Insurance and the Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Association on July 2. The officers were able to enjoy coffee, cookies and pie and pick up a wrapped goody bag with energy drinks and snacks.

Keeping officers fed on the Fourth
Over the busy Fourth of July holiday weekend, the owners of Manny’s Deli and Moe’s Cantina pitched in to feed officers — such as the groups working long hours to keep a watchful eye over Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain and Navy Pier. Mean- while, the Chicago Police Foundation and the 8 Hospitality group did their parts to provide food and beverages to Commu- nity Safety Team officers.
