MADD heroes:
10th District officers recognized
The 2019 Illinois Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Hero awards honored a pair of Chicago Police Officers.
Officers Robert Brown (below, left) and Alberto Zayas from the 10th District were recognized in Springfield with MADD’s award for Outstanding Impaired Driving Enforcement.
The pair regularly works a traffic car in the Ogden district that covers Little Village, Lawndale and Pilsen. They have been cred- ited with making hundreds of felony DUI arrests.
MADD’s annual awards honor police officers and others who have made substantial contributions in the ongoing effort to eliminate drunk driving.
