On Nov. 3, some of the City’s most renowned civic leaders, business movers and shakers and a whole bunch of folks who care about the safety and welfare of Chicago Police Officers will gather at the Four Seasons Hotel. They will donate enthu- siastically and bid energetically on auction items to fund more LEMART kits, more technology and more training.
And the benefits will reverberate to every officer in the De- partment.
On Nov. 3, the Chicago Police Foundation (CPF) is hosting its fourth annual True Blue Event. The organization, which brings together a plethora of Chicago’s most illustrious philanthropic companies to better promote officer safety, expand the imple- mentation of technology, increase officer training and enhance relations between Chicago Police Officers and the communi- ties they serve, has upped its stake to go beyond the $500,000 it raised at the 2017 True Blue Event.
“We are continuing to make progress and raise awareness. We have more and more people who want to get involved, and that sends a message that they do care about the officers and they care about the city,” extols CPF Chair John Robak. “They
