Police Officer Deronis Cooper Star #17206
On Feb. 13, Officer Deronis Cooper was in the area of City Hall when he was called to monitor a foot pursuit in progress. When the officer approached the area of the oc- currence, he heard loud gunshots. With no regard for his safety, the officer went down the stairs where the gunshots were coming from. There, he was met by the horrible sight of Commander Paul Bauer on the ground, with the offend-
er near him. The officer immediately apprehended the of- fender, placing him in custody. Due to this officer’s quick reaction, a murderous, evil offender was apprehended.
