The 10th annual O’Hare Plane Pull for Special Olympics Illinois drew teams of all shapes and sizes to the airport tarmac on Sept. 22 to yank a 180,000-pound aircraft in the name of charity.
One of those teams, the 20-per-
son CPD SWAT squad, did its part for [FOR?] the fifth time, bring- ing with it players from the Chicago Bliss football team. The team finished with impressive stats in both time — just under 10 seconds — and fundraising, collecting $2,000 to support Special Olympics athletes. Nearly 100 teams raised close to $190,000 for the cause. d
