To get ready for the annual Puerto Rican People’s Parade, o cers and area children worked together to create masks and butter ies that were later used as part of the festivities.
O cers in the 19th District joined up with local kids on June 27 for a youth Wi e Ball game at Gill Park.
It’s not always about assisting motorists with a bad tire, as this 11th District o cer proved when he o ered a helping hand to a boy whose bike had a at.
11th District o cers spent some time hanging out with local students at Laura Ward Elementary School during a PlayStreets event on June 14. The following week, o cers celebrated the end of the school year with students from Frazier International Magnet Elementary School.
