On March 16, Field Training Officer Richard DeFelice was working with Po- lice Officers Timothy Kroski and Edward Day when they responded to a domestic battery. As they arrived, they were met with a victim who had wrapped a tow- el around his injured hand to stop the blood flow. The officers immediately re- trieved their medical trauma kit and ad- ministered care to the victim, stopping the loss of blood. At that time, CFD ar- rived and took over the care.
Officers refuse to throw in the towel
Without the immediate care provided by Officers DeFelice, Kroski and Day, this citizen would have bled to death.
