Undercover Santa
Who is that bearded man who once again came to the 19th District to give kids from homeless and domestic violence shelters a big Ho Ho Ho? With the help of the Community Policing Unit in 019, Santa also gave the kids Christmas cheer and Christmas presents they might not otherwise get. The annual 19th District Christmas party brought together police officers, business leaders and neighbors and truly made it the most wonderful time of the year for these kids.

The Chicago Police Foundation held its annual True Blue event, a night of unprecedented giving to support the City’s police officers. A live auction featured a special opportunity from the Department and raised nearly $500,000 to provide equipment, training, technology and more for Chicago Police Officers.
